Nature is not destroyed by buying fur coats: as for
any other natural product, furs are the outcome of the constant and diligent relationship
with the resources offered by nature to mankind.
Almost all skins employed by the furrier derive from
breeding farms. Breeding is an activity included in the wide cycle of agriculture and must
be safeguarded and well-organized.
As for all animals bred by humans, those bred for their
furs also have a particular and specific behaviour that makes them suitable for the
environment in which they are bred. The selection of the breed, the balanced nutrition,
the care taken to their environment (rather than taking into consideration the size of the
cages it is more important to pay careful attention to the equipment and to make sure that
there is a shelter and drinking tray) these technical instruments are required to make
sure that the animals do not suffer in vain.
